Founder, Trackerserver
RFID Tracker is published by Trackerserver, a white-label tracking platform founded by Ivan Rushmer.
Rushmer's work in telematics dates from 2014. Trackerserver is, first of all, a platform for GPS tracking: it places vehicles and assets on a live map, replays their journeys and raises the alerts on which a tracking business relies. Rushmer, a full-stack software developer, is the author of that software.
The devices that report to it are a second strand of the same career. Rushmer maintains close working relationships with some of the leading manufacturers in telematics, has extensive experience in China, and develops new tracking hardware there. The platform's catalogue of supported devices stands at more than 4 800 models.
The InSight modules extend the platform to what no GPS tracker is fitted to. InSight Mesh positions tagged people and equipment inside buildings, InSight BLE follows equipment that travels with vehicles, and InSight RFID, which is at present in early access, records labelled items as they pass a reader. This website explains the third of these and its relation to the other two.
Trackerserver is provided to tracking businesses in any country as a platform of their own, on a dedicated server and under their own brand and web address. The clients of such a business accordingly see its name, and not that of Trackerserver, on the service they use.
Enquiries about RFID tracking may be addressed to Trackerserver through the enquiry page.
